JOB DESCRIPTION
The Laborer is responsible for supporting manufacturing and warehouse operations through material
handling, order preparation, shipping and receiving activities, and the operation of processing equipment.
The role contributes to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while supporting
overall production objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate various processing equipment, including sawing, cutting, and drilling tools.
- Assist with the receiving and shipping of materials and goods.
- Prepare orders and complete required documentation.
- Perform inventory and merchandise rotation activities.
- Assist with loading and unloading transport vehicles.
- Move materials using forklifts and overhead cranes when required.
- Follow all occupational health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with various processing equipment and hand tools.
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is considered an asset
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy loads.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Resourceful, proactive, reliable, and punctual.
- Positive attitude, versatility, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
