Press Brake Field Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Press Brake Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining
press brake machine tools. The role includes performing diagnostics, adjustments, preventive
maintenance, operator training, and technical support at customer sites. This position requires frequent
travel directly at customer sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out all manufacturing steps in the plant, in accordance with established procedures.
- Install new equipment at customer facilities.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues at customer sites.
- Adjust and operate machines according to production requirements.
- Provide training to equipment operators.
- Complete and submit service reports and all required administrative forms.
- Provide recommendations to customers to optimize machine performance and operation.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Electromechanics or equivalent experience.
- Experience as a press brake operator or setter is considered an asset.
- Experience programming and operating a Delem controller is considered an asset.
- Experience in industrial maintenance or equipment installation is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
- Excellent manual dexterity and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout Canada and the United States (vehicule provided)
